Step 3 PRE-TREATMENT : Inner surface of the tank is blasted at high pressure in the shot blasting machine to remove any surface impurities and oxides. Step 4 ENAMEL APPLICATION : Dry Power Enamel is sprayed on the tanks by 2 robots. Automative controls maintain a Homogenous coating thickness of 250 across the surface of the tank. Step 5 FIRING : Enamel coated tanks are fired inside the high temperature furance at 830°C - 850°C. The enamel melts to fuse and bond with the steel to form a protective glass lining.
